Supervisors should have good communications skills so that they can simplify the ideas and convince others to execute the tasks in an appropriate way.

They are also responsible for upward communication about the issues on the floor. Good supervisors should also have good listening skills.

Positive Attitude, Commitment and Responsibility

Supervisors need to exhibit a positive attitude towards everyone that will impact the behavior of the employees. They should affirm that all the tasks will be done in accordance to the organization goals.

Respect, Discipline and Grievance Handling

Good supervisors are not just courteous and polite, they give respect to their subordinates and acknowledge their individual needs. The resultant outcome of this respect is discipline. Moreover, supervisors address the grievances of the employees in the most effective manners so that they do not face any problem.
