Course Overview

The main objective of this course is to improve and promote the effectiveness of employees. Performance management is the continuous process in which employees and managers collaborate with each other so that they can plan, review and monitor the objectives of employees and their contributions in the organization. The Performance Management course equips participants with desired skills and techniques so that it can be ensured that employees perform to the best of their abilities.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will know how to:

  • Identify the common pitfalls of performance management
  • Understand the importance of creating the performance plan, steps required for establishing the plan, identify the process for discussion of the job descriptions
  • Identify steps for conducting the meeting of performance planning, providing feedback, kinds of coaching and feedback efforts
  • Understand the process of performance appraisal, gather the required material of appraisal, prepare for appraisal discussion, lead the employees in the discussion of appraisal, respond to the employees that are defensive, and resolve the conflict in appraisal discussion
  • Identify the duties and the legal appraisals as per the laws enforced by the EEOC, legal challenges of the risk, the importance of having positive communication
  • Plan for improvements in performance, handle performance problems, use effective communication in order to solve the problems of performance, conduct meeting and marinate documentation

Course Methodology
