ISO 17025: 2005 Laboratory Management System

Course Overview

Credible testing and calibration is a prerequisite for assuring quality of products, irrespective of whether the tests and calibrations are performed in an independent laboratory or in the manufacturer’s captive laboratory. ISO/IEC 17025:2005 presents the framework for laboratories for developing and demonstrating competence and carrying out tests and / or calibration including sampling. This standard applicable to first, second and third-party laboratory testing and / or calibration, prescribes requirements for establishing a management system for quality, administrative and technical operations of a laboratory, which when implemented, provide a sound basis of recognizing and accepting product quality and conformance results across the globe. The aim of the course is to provide a concerted and comprehensive training on development & implementation of ISO/IEC 17025 Laboratory Management System (LMS) for building competence of Quality/Technical Manager and other personnel of testing and calibration laboratories.
